Ryuta is the Founding Partner of Avatar Capital Partners, bringing over 30 years of experience in the real estate and asset management industry. Before establishing Avatar Capital Partners, he served as the Head of Japan at Macquarie Asset Management, where he oversaw investment and asset management activities in Japan.

Prior to that, Ryuta spent over 13 years at CLSA Real Estate as Head of Japan and was an Investment Committee Member. His career also includes a role at Smartcorp L.L.P., where he provided guidance on real estate acquisitions and asset management for both onshore and offshore clients.

 

Additionally, Ryuta had valuable experience at Kenedix, Inc., one of Japan's largest real estate asset management companies, managing multiple properties in collaboration with global real estate investment funds. He began his career at Dai-Ichi Building, a subsidiary of Dai-Ichi Life Insurance.​  Ryuta holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Kindai University and is a Senior Chartered Architect and a Certified Facility Manager in Japan.
